Why we built it

"As registered nurses, my sister Cathy and I designed the EZ Lift Vest after struggling to safely assist our dear mother."

After 35+ years in healthcare, we couldn't find a device that respected the dignity of the person being lifted while protecting the person doing the lifting. So we made one — patented, clinically trialed in adult day care, assisted living, and home care, and manufactured in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Common questions

Is the vest reimbursable through insurance?

The EZ Lift Vest may be eligible for reimbursement through Advantage Care and Disability Health plans, depending on diagnosis and plan design. Ask us — we'll help you check.

Do you sell to individual families, or only to facilities?

Both. Families order single vests direct; facilities and DME distributors can open bulk orders (5+ vests).

How does it compare to a gait belt?

A gait belt supports the waist only and slips off easily. The EZ Lift Vest is worn like a garment, distributes force across the full upper back, and includes reinforced handholds designed for controlled lifting and transfers.

Is it comfortable to wear all day?

Yes — it's built from lightweight, breathable poly-cotton twill and designed for continuous wear during routine activities.
